About Me
I am an Austrian neuroscientist and tinnitus researcher working at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, Germany and at the Center for Neuromodulation of the University Regensburg, Germany. I am the team leader of the human neuroscience research group as part of the MEXT-Project.
My main research interests are different non-invasive brain stimulation techniques especially the effects of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) in fundamental research e.g., on brain activity (Electroencephalography) as well as in the treatment of neuro-psychiatric conditions. Especially, I am interested in understanding Tinnitus and conducting research on treatment approaches for this auditory phantom sound perception.
Further, I work as a Senior Scientific Consultant at Lifetide Litschel Consulting.
